Datuk Seri Ibrahim bin Muhamad is formerly the Secretary General of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sinergi Perdana in December 2010 and assumed the role of Chairman of Sinergi Perdana in June 2012.
Datuk Seri Ibrahim started his career in the civil service in 1978 with the Ministry of Finance where he served in various capacities for thirteen (13) years. Subsequently, he was posted to the Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) in 1991. Datuk Seri Ibrahim was attached to MITI for almost eight (8) years in various capacities (including as the Director, Malaysian Trade Office at the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) in Taipei and as Area Manager for Australasia at MATRADE’s Head Office in Kuala Lumpur. Later Datuk Seri Ibrahim served at the Economic Planning Unit at the Prime Minister’s Department for about one (1) year in 1999.
Prior to assuming his previous appointment at the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development in November 2010, Datuk Seri Ibrahim was the Director General of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA). In addition, Datuk Seri Ibrahim has vast experience in the agriculture industry having served the Ministry of Agriculture for about nine (9) years from 2000 to 2009 in various capacities and portfolios including commodity development, strategic and macro planning, human resource management as well as monitoring and evaluations. Datuk Seri Ibrahim was the Deputy Secretary General (Planning) of the Ministry of Agriculture prior to his appointment as the Director General of MARA in January 2010.
Datuk Seri Ibrahim holds a Master in Business Administration from University of Dubuque, Iowa, United States of America and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from University of Malaya.
Dato’ Wan Ahmad Shabri Zainuddin is currently the Director General of RISDA. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sinergi Perdana in May 2017.
He began his career with the RISDA as an officer at RISDA Wilayah Pahang Timur, in 1980. He continued to serve the RISDA in numerous divisions and state RISDA offices including the Pejabat RISDA Negeri (Pahang, Selangor, & Kelantan), Entrepreneur Development Division before being appointed as the Deputy Director General for Development of RISDA in October 2016.
Dato’ Wan Ahmad Shabri Zainuddin holds a Bachelor Degree in Agriculture from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Mr. Zulkarnain Bin Md. Eusope is currently the Chief Executive Officer of FELCRA Berhad. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sinergi Perdana in November 2016.
Mr. Zulkarnain started his career in 1991 with the Tenaga Nasional Berhad before moving to the EPE Power Corporation Berhad as a Project Manager. He was appointed as the Senior Vice President of Empire Energy Corp in 2006. En. Zulkarnain joined FELCRA in 2013 as the Chief Investment Officer.
Mr. Zulkarnain holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from University of Northen Arizona, Flagstaff Arizona. He is currently pursuing for a Master in Islamic Finance at International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) Malaysia.
Datuk Dr Omar bin Salim, is currently the Head of FELDA Regulatory and Supervisory Unit, Prime Minister’s Department. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sinergi Perdana in June 2010.
Datuk Dr Omar started his career in 1983 with the Public Services Commission before moving to the Prime Minister’s Department. He continued to serve the Government in numerous ministries and agencies including the Public Service Department, Jabatan Telekom Malaysia (Regulatory and Supervisory), the Malaysian Administration, Management and Planning Unit (MAMPU), the Ministry of Finance and the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency before being posted back to the Prime Minister’s Department in his current capacity in 2008.
Datuk Dr Omar holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, a Masters of Business Administration from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Malaya.
Dato’ Khairil Anuar Aziz, is currently the Chief Operation Officer of FELDA Global Venture. He was the Executive Director of Go Sovereign Sdn Bhd, an MSC-status company specializing in ICT and Human Capital Development Services. He is also the Chairman of Iremco Sdn Bhd, an exclusive distributor of AKG Precision Bearings (Germany) for Malaysia. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sinergi Perdana in September 2010.
In 2004, Dato’ Khairil was headhunted to join MLABS Systems Berhad (an associate company of Universiti Sains Malaysia) as the Senior Vice-President – Business Development before being promoted as the Chief Executive Officer as well as appointed as a Board member. He and his management team successfully secured the company’s listing on the then MESDAQ Market of Bursa Malaysia Berhad. Dato’ Khairil later joined Scan Associates Berhad as Director of International Business and was later promoted as the Group Chief Marketing Officer, specializing in ICT Security Solutions and Consultancy for domestic and international markets.
Dato’ Khairil currently sits on the Board of MMU-Cnergy Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Multimedia University, Telekom Malaysia Berhad) and the Industry Advisory Panel (IAP), National IPv6 Center of Excellence, Computer Science Faculty, University Sains Malaysia, Penang. In addition, Dato’ Khairil also serves on the Persatuan Komputer & Multimedia Malaysia’s (PIKOM) Government Relations Committee and is the Deputy Chairman of Gabungan Pemikir Professional FELDA (GAPROF) which advises on strategic direction on the social and economic development of the FELDA community.
Dato’ Khairil holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree, majoring in Marketing Management from Coventry University, United Kingdom.
Ir. Noor Ezzuddin is currently the Secretary of Technical Division of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sinergi Perdana in October 2016.
Ir. Noor Ezzuddin joined the civil service in September 1983 as a Design Engineer at the Unit Airport, Design and Research Branch of JKR Malaysia. He assumed his current position at the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development in November 2015.
